If a lot of things move together quickly, we say they swarmed.
Swarmed can make people think of bugs or other small creatures moving quickly.
Examples:
The bees swarmed around the hive.
The children swarmed out of the school when the bell rang.
The birds swarmed in the sky.
The ants swarmed over the picnic blanket.
When the food was dropped, the children swarmed around it.
The fans swarmed into the stadium to see the game.
